Please join the USCG Sector Columbia River/MSU Portland and the Columbia River Steamship Operators’ Association (CRSOA) for a discussion regarding the recent outbreak of the NOVEL WUHAN CORONAVIRUS. CRSOA Members are asked to kindly send any questions you have at this time in advance to admin@crsoa.net so that the USCG, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other necessary agencies may have time to research responses. Some responses may take additional time.
Please refer to the attached MARINE SAFETY INFORMATION BULLETIN which provides details regarding the history of the virus, common symptoms, the current stance of the Coast Guard regarding the virus, as well as useful links in the event you have questions or possibly believe you may have an infected crew member onboard one of your vessels.
